If you are a proud owner of the book “Noise and Vibration Analysis: Signal Analysis and Experimental Procedures,” by Anders Brandt, or have access to a library copy, you can now download some useful resources for the book:

The current errata list can be found here. Make sure you download it and make corrections in your copy of the book!

There is a zip archive with all book figures in separate PowerPoint files for each chapter. You can use these PowerPoint files to, more conveniently, make your own lecture presentations. The reason I have chosen to do it like this, rather than to provide complete presentations, is that I personally find it hard to use other peopleĀ“s slides. If you would like me to provide complete PowerPoint files, please send me an email through the contact template, indicating this. If there is enough interest, I will consider providing such presentations later. Download this zip archive by clicking here.

Finally there is a solutions manual for all the Problems in the book! The ZIP file includes a PDF file in a printer-friendly form, approx. 67 pages, and a file where each solution starts on a new page, suitable if you are a teacher and you wish to hand out only a single solution to your students. A directory with MATLAB scripts for all relevant Problems is also included. Download it by clicking here.

You can also go to www.abravibe.com and sign in. When you are signed in you can browse and select among all files to download!

The ABRAVIBE toolbox for MATLAB/GNU Octave is available in a new version, revision 1.2! You can now download it by following one of the following link:
download it directly by clicking here (you will be guided through the registration and sign-in process)
go to www.abravibe.com and select “Sign In” in the upper right-hand corner, after which you will be able to download the toolbox.

Make sure you select to receive update notifications every time a new version is available when you sign up!

Welcome to the new abravibe.com site – the official home page for the ABRAVIBE toolbox!

The Learn More! part of the site is designed as a blog, which gives some advantages; among other things you can subscribe to RSS feeds so you are notified every time a new resource is published here.

The abravibe.com site is intended to be a portal for learning, teaching and utilizing vibration analysis. You will be able to browse through examples of how to use the ABRAVIBE toolbox. You will also find resources that teach general vibration engineering, and resources for the book “Noise and Vibration Analysis: Signal Analysis and Experimental Procedures,” by Anders Brandt, published by John Wiley and Sons 2011.

If you are a previous user of the ABRAVIBE toolbox, you can now download the latest version by signing in to this site (after signing up for a user account). You will then be able to browse all the resources on this site, and optionally you can select to be notified by email next time there is an updated toolbox version available.

New resources will frequently be added to this site, so be sure to visit us often! Or become a member at
